Our adapter bushings and nuts allow our tuning machines and Xtender™ models to fit all the in between sizes so you can quit playing luthier and get back to playing bass.
Please note that the Licensed Ultralight adapter bushing (SKU: 206BUSH-500->708) is not visible once installed, therefore this part does not have a plated finish.

Bought a Marcus Miller short-scale bass from Sire with a bit of neck dive. New Ultralite tuners from Hip-Shot solved the neck dive. I picked the black finish looks for a clean look.

I was grateful that Oscar at Hipshot told me I needed these sleeves. Although the tuning machines came with bushings, they were the wrong size -- to narrow for the holes that were drilled for the original Hipsot tuners on this Mustang bass. This saved me a headache, and I'm glad I reached out for advice before making a purchase.
They are great! I need to get them for several of my other basses with hipshot light tuners.
I did not need them. The salesperson at Hipshot miss sold them to me. The tuners I purchased fit fine with out the bushings.
