So it turns out that your headstock has odd ball sized string post holes and your tuners don't fit, right? Well, put away your drill bits because we've got you covered!
Our adapter bushings and nuts allow our tuning machines and Xtender™ models to fit all the in between sizes so you can quit playing luthier and get back to playing bass.
Please note that the Licensed Ultralight adapter bushing (SKU: 206BUSH-500->708) is not visible once installed, therefore this part does not have a plated finish.

Got some licensed Hipshots to go with the Hipshot bridge, trying to combat neck dive on my Squier Jaguar H- man the bushings fit in perfectly, the tuners fit in those no problem, got everything screwed in and the work perfectly and the bass balances now!! Thank you guys so much!!
Bought a Marcus Miller short-scale bass from Sire with a bit of neck dive. New Ultralite tuners from Hip-Shot solved the neck dive. I picked the black finish looks for a clean look.
Reached out to customer service for support multiple times prior to ordering to confirm fit. No response, no support. Even the shop making my build reached out and couldn’t get a response. Never buying products from this company again…
I was grateful that Oscar at Hipshot told me I needed these sleeves. Although the tuning machines came with bushings, they were the wrong size -- to narrow for the holes that were drilled for the original Hipsot tuners on this Mustang bass. This saved me a headache, and I'm glad I reached out for advice before making a purchase.
