HB7 Bass Tuning Machine (Sold Individually)
Stop fighting slipping tuners and start locking in the pocket. The HB7 replaces sloppy stock tuners with high-precision, tour-ready stability. Spend less time tuning and more time playing—your pitch will be locked in before your guitarist even touches their pedalboard.
Part of the Hipshot American Classics Series, the HB7 is the premium drop-in upgrade for modern Fender-style basses. Engineered as a direct replacement for Fender® Highway One and Made in Mexico (MIM) tuning machines, this footprint is found across a wide range of models from Vintage Modified Squier® models to Fender USA and Custom Shop Jazz and Precision basses. The HB7 is also the go-to choice for luthiers who demand uncompromising reliability.

Clover vs Lollipop
While mostly known for the clover key shape, for a brief period in the mid to late 1960s Fender used the lollipop key shape, perhaps to sweeten the tone.
Will It Fit My Bass?
Designed to replace the original Schaller BMF footprint, if your bass has 11/16" peghead holes and the same mounting pattern, the HB2 will fit. Still not sure? Check out our full scale comparison chart above with your bass to ensure a seamless fit.
