Installed on a Schecter CR-6. The hipshot bridge is far superior. The quality of materials to the way it’s designed is spot on. It’s also much more comfortable on your palm, everything is smooth including the tiny grub screws on the saddles for string height. Most important thing is intonation is a breeze. Highly recommended!

TLDR: If you don't want to do a light modification, the stock Jackson bridge is pretty good. If you are willing to put in a little work and want the better bridge, it's worth it. (0.175 floor height if you have not found that info yet) I have been going the budget DIY route for my Jackson Juggernaut Pro Series HT6 (2019-2024 models). Put Hipshot tuners in, Hipshot o-ring knobs, graphtech nut, and lastly I got this black .175 floor height bridge. I will be grabbing bareknuckle pickups and electronics down the road as well as putting stainless steel frets on but that's not for this review. I just wanted to make this review for anyone who wants to do the same as everything was plug and play except for the bridge, however it only required small modifications. I grabbed some cheap files from the hardware store that were not made for metal, but for 10 bucks I didn't care, it just took some extra time and effort. I was able to get the file at the right angle to create a notch on each hole for the bridge to match up with the slightly different hole locations. The mounting points however are the exact same as the Jackson in house bridge that comes with it. The Jackson bridge is definitely good enough and not everyone will notice a difference, but if you make the effort and haven't had the pleasure to try a Hipshot bridge before, you will most likely notice after playing a bit that it sits better, is more comfortable to rest your hand on, and of course it looks sick!

Perfect fit for my Charvel San Dimas. No modifications needed, matches perfectly with existing holes! Gold tone matches with the existing gold hard and it looks fantastic!

Using HIPSHOT bridges on pretty much all my builds and for me it is the go to solution. Well made, nice finishes, no sharp etches, good adjustments possibilities. Non the less, great customer service! G. Aeschbach AESCHBACH GUITARS

The quality of Hipshot hardware is completely unmatched. I bought my first set of Hipshot locking tuners about three years ago and ever since then, any instrument I own always gets outfitted with Hipshot hardware. I love that the bridges feel sturdy and well-made, but they are so ergonomic that it feels like the bridge isn’t even there when you’re playing. I cannot get enough of Hipshot, and at this point I will be a lifetime customer.

Being VERY disappointed with the string spacing on my 72 Pawn Shop I was resigned to the fact that even after rearranging the nut slot spacing that I would never resolve the issue. Not sure what inspired me to fit the Hipshot bridge but I am glad I did. No extra work required to fit the Hipshot - the three original mounting holes in the body of the guitar aligned perfectly - but I am glad I did - the strings now align perfectly with the bridge pickup poles and the edges of the neck ( Fender WRHB pickup fitted at the neck which explains the lack of alignment there!). Also palm muting is a breeze! Nice one Hipshot!

It's a fantastic bridge for my Bellagio! The brass plate adds a lot of overtones and the tonal improvement was immediate. Even the ergonomics, with the rounded edges of the bridge, is greatly increased. I will definitely use it for my other constructions. Thank you!

I bought this bridge about two years ago now, and felt compelled to give it a review. I've been modding my Jackson Juggernaut HT-6 Pro (Misha Mansoor from the band "Periphery" artist model) since I bought it used a couple years ago and I have to say, I put this fixed bridge on two other guitars as well. It's great looking, comfortable but the best thing is certainly the reliability and tuning stability that I get with it! I paired this bridge with the Hipshot griplock open gear tuners, (so sweet!) Just like on Misha's USA custom shop models. (I can't afford or justify a $3000-$5000 guitar when I can mod myself.) And so far it's been terrific. Just ordered the o ring knobs for my vol and tone pots! Hipshot, you guys should think about making nuts too. I've been a big fan of the Graphtech nuts and that's all I'll use, but if you had one, I'd certainly try them! I appreciate the pride that Hipshot takes in the quality of their craft. I recommend Hipshot to people quite alot. I'll keep coming back for more!

My Solar S1.6 came stock with this bridge in black and it’s probably the best piece of hardware on the guitar. It made setup effortless, every part of the saddles were well machined and easy to adjust. The bridge is super comfortable when palm muting too, not a sharp edge to be found. With a bit of lubricant at the nut and this bridge properly set up, my guitar never goes out of tune more than few cents, even weeks later. Overall I couldn’t be happier, Hipshot makes the best damn guitar hardware you can buy, in my opinion.

I recently had my first own signature custom shop 6 string baritone made in Singapore. I choose hipshot for both the bridge and the open gear machine head. The results is perfect! It is so easy to intonate my guitar and it keeps the tuning so well. From now on all my new guitars will be with the hipshot bridge! Thank you for the amazing product. \m/

It is a superb bridge for my Charvel, the tonal improvement was immediate. The brass plate adds a lot of overtones and resonance, notes rings with a deep low end rounded hi and fuller mids. My one issue is the three screws don't go deep enough and the saddles bumps on them. for compound radius 10-16 i am using bridge radius of 20, please do advise if it is not optimum. Thanks

I put this on my Fender Modern Player Telecaster Plus. It didn’t work. The strings barely cleared the frets. Sent it back today. Going to get the angled up one to replace it. Holes lined up well (not perfectly but good enough).

This bridge is a huge improvement on the standard item starting with the string spacing - the strings now align with the bridge PUP polepices and the E strings are more inclined to stay on the fretboard! As can be seen in the pic the neck pickup is either/or installed incorrectly and/or the wrong one completely! I used the existing holes to mount the bridge but I think new holes need to be drilled as I reckon it is not quite square. One thing at a time, the new bridge is a huge leap forward, Fender take note.

I have used this bridge on my latest build "Voodoo Moon Rising" as well as one of my baritone guitars. I am completely convinced that bridges with through the body string designs offer the most tone transmission of any other bridge design and that this bridge in particular, with the solid brass frame and stainless steel saddles, stands at the top of my list. It's my first choice of bridges bar none. I find this also true in both their guitar tuning machines as well as the bass tuning machines which I have been installing on my basses for twenty years. Keep up the quality control and design Hipshot, I'll endorse your product to the last guitar I build. - Bryon Suter - Luthier - Custom B Guitars

6 String Fixed Guitar Bridge

I have it installed on my custom designed electric guitar. The guitar holds tuning really well because of it.

I bought this for a Tele build I was doing. I am happy with the bridge, it's got good weight, has good adjustability and the saddles are nice and smooth so that strings don't break. I do have two niggles: 1 – The supplied mounting screws have domed tops that remain proud of the bridge and this distorts the way the saddles sit on them and force you to have a higher than needed saddle height. Also one screw snapped-off at the head even though I drilled pilot holes. I have replaced the supplied screws with true flat head screws and this solved the issue. 1- One saddle height adjustment screw would not go all the way through it’s threads. It is as though there is some debris left in the threads that is causing the grub screw to bind.

Hipshot did a great job on the shopping, ordering and delivery process. I was slightly disappointed that my black bridge arrived with bright stainless hardware (I incorrectly assumed it would be all black), but one quick message to them got me some black oxide hardware shipped out right away. Great service, I just wish the option of black hardware on a black bridge would be more clearly articulated on their website (also detailing why they default to stainless if black is not requested specifically), would be a beneficial detail to add. Many thanks Hipshot.

6 String Fixed Guitar Bridge

Hipshot is the best guitar hardware out there. Great upgrade for not only playability, but the tone improvement is substantial.

I replaced the Tight-End R bridge of my Ibanez because of a broken saddle and I tried a Hipshot Fixed .175 bridge instead. I'm very happy with the result. You can see how I done it here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XKeo62dMKTw

This is a drop-in replacement for over-sized hard tail bridge that comes with the MIM Cabronita. These are great guitars, especially at the current blow-out prices, but the saddles are made for a 2 1/8 sized bridge. The Cabronita requires a 2 1/8 sized bridge, such as the Hipshot 6 string fixed. It's a breeze to put in, lines up the strings properly, intonates much better than stock and sounds and plays great. Make your Cabronita better and put in a Hipshot.

6 String Fixed Guitar Bridge

Great product, one of the best hardtail bridges on the market. Solid construction and materials.

6 String Fixed Guitar Bridge

works great on mexican telecasters with the cheaper hardtail bridges. I'm talking about the cabronitas and the blacktops that come with the wannabe american standard hardtail bridges, perfect drop in.

6 String Fixed Guitar Bridge

Direct fit/ drop-in for a Wilkinson bent steel bridge that was OEM for US Masters guitars. This is a SUPERIOR bridge! This is what is NOW on US Masters as well as Pensa Guitars in NYC. Very smooth and comfortable to play on, intonates perfectly and the MASS of this bridge ADDS to your overall sustain and ringing bell-like tones from your guitar. This is a very NEEDED upgrade for ANY hardtail style guitar. Just awesome.

6 String Fixed Guitar Bridge

This bridge solved a couple of problems I was having with a custom strat copy I had put together and also provided some added benefits that I wasn't even looking for. 1) The narrow string spacing keeps both my high and low E strings on the fretboard. 2) The thicker baseplate gets my action where it should be, leaving plenty of room for adjustment. Apparently, the builder of the strat body didn't route the neck pocket deep enough resulting in extremely low action and a thin/tinny sounding guitar with a standard thickness bridge. 3) This is a very heavy and thick bridge. It added much needed weight to a very light strat. Now the overall weight and balance is very close to a fender. 4) Now the tone is warm and punchy. Very fat. 5) Extremely comfortable. I tend to rest my hand along the top of the bridge for a lot of playing and the smooth contours provide a very comfortable playing platform. 6) Great looks. It just looks high quality and cool. It also intonates accuratley and stays in tune. Overall, great product, and mounts to standard hardtail bridge mounting holes.

6 String Fixed Guitar Bridge

I use these bridges on custom hexaphonic guitars. With the factory slotting for the ghost or rmc piezo saddles the installation is almost invisible. The quality of the machine work and plating is excellent, the first hipshot bridge I used on my own personal guitar has held up for about 5 years without any pitting or corrosion. That is in a tropical coastal climate, gigged on the beach all year!!! The sustain and tone is great and perfect for the piezo saddles. Hipshot seems to understand that builders and players want years of trouble free reliability, and I suspect these bridges will outlast any guitar they are put on. I can't find a single fault and i'm a nit picker.
