The Best bridge for custom design guitar! Easy installation and tuning.

When assembling my guitar, I wanted a solid fixed bridge, and when i saw the unique look of the Baby Grand, I had to try it out. It's been a very stable bridge and easily adjusted for setups. And the unique look adds a lot of flair to the overall design. Installation was a little weird, but thats only because it was my first time. Paired with Hipshot tuning machines, you get a premium setup for your instrument. I can't recommend it enough.

Posotives: This bridge sounds fantastic! I like the mix of steel, brass and aluminum parts for different purposes. Adjustment is easy and accurate and it looks beautiful as well.
Negatives: The poly-lock on the posts took me a few tries to get used to after coming from having guitars with only hard-tail strat-style bridges. My biggest gripe is a two part-er. 1. While the shape of the bridge is wonderful, I have to use some sort of helping device to get the smallest strings over the saddles when putting new strings on (the space is too small for my fat fingers). 2. When taking old strings off I have found that my preferred brand of string's ball end fits quite snugly in the back part of the bridge and I am unable to simply slide them out (I have to use a small set of needle-nose pliers in a technique I've developed to push them out carefully; while I've learned to do this quite effectively, this is not ideal at all).
Overall, I love that the bridge sounds great and looks even better. But from where I stand there are some design issues that need to be addressed.

Easily my favorite bridge. I have been using these on most of my builds for 15 years. Would be excited to see a left handed version available!

I just want to make it clear that I am not endorsed by Hip Shot. I first got a Baby Grand bridge when it came installed on my first XOX Audio Tools Handle guitar and loved the stability and precise way the bridge worked. I have since purchased 2 more Handles and one more Baby Grand bridge for a total of four Baby Grand bridges used on my guitars. The workmanship is fantastic, and they stay put after adjusted far better then any previous type of bridge I have used on my guitars in the past.
I cannot reccomend this product and this company enough for any needs they offer for guitar products. The customer service is second to none. They have been fast, friendly, and go out of their way to make sure that whatever needs their customers have, are met. And the workmanship they offer on their products is spectacular.
In a world where mediocrity is widely accepted, and guitar parts, in general, do not always hold up, Hipshot outperforms other companies by offering an exceptionally high quality product that definitely stands up to the rigors working guitar players put these products through, and they continue to hold up year ofter year.
When you find a company where everything has such a high quality, it is important that others find out about it. That way, when you buy something you need for your guitar, you only have to buy it once, and know that it will hold up.

This is a beautiful elegant piece of fine machine work.
It adorns custom guitars with that "extra elite custom look"
But most importantly the bridge "sounds great" rich tone and sustain.
All my customers who own guitars I made with this bridge on it "Love Them!"
Highly recommended..

I have it on my custom build guitar for seven years now and I love it, sustain and vibration just travel with this design, it looks beautiful and it don't brake strings!

The bridge is super high quality and I'm in love with the shape. It fits so well with a number of my designs it's almost like they were made for one another. A couple of the features I like on this bridge are the massive range of intonation that the movement of both the saddles AND the area attaching to the posts give you. Also, one feature that a lot of people might not think of is this bridge will stay grounded even if you swap out to graphtech, ghost, whatever saddles since the string anchors will still conduct to the strings from the grounded bridge post. This may not seem like a huge thing until you have to try and get a ground wire hole to the post of a TOM's stop bar in the event you change out to non-conductive saddles on a TOM style bridge. Lastly, the ability to lock the bridge DOWN onto the posts (which a number of TOM style bridges lack) is great for a vast number of reasons in both the tonal and functional realm. Sure, a couple other TOM style bridges offer post lock-down, and some wrap-arounds offer the same range of motion... but this bridge offers both those things in ONE package and does a heck of a good job lookin' stylish at the same time. When not using a trem, or instructed to use a different bridge, this is my go-to bridge of choice, hands down.
