The Hipshot HB6 LIC tuners are marvelous. Nice tight gears with a great turn ratio that prevents easily overshooting tune adjustments. Plus, as with any Hipshot product, you get amazing customer service!

This is the second set of tuners that I’ve purchased from Hipshot. Very high quality and affordable. I plan on upgrading a few more of my basses with their tuners as well as bridges. Very satisfied with with every purchase that I’ve made from them.

Perfect replacement for the stock tuners on my Metro Express 4 string bass. And a very inexpensive upgrade to the instrument. The folks at Hipshot made this upgrade super easy. I’ll be upgrading a few of my basses in the very near future with Hipshot tuners. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Very easy installation, had to use spacer because the hole in the headstock was 18mm and the tuner is 16mm. Tuning stability is awesome. Bought another set for one of my other basses. Great value for the buck and back :)

Second set I have purchased to ease neck dive on Fenders. Simple to install and the results are excellent (should be standard equipment). Thank you!

They’re awesome, my jazz and P-Bass have an entirely different feel without the extra weight. No more neck dive.

They’re pimp daddy and light weight!

Love the Hipshot tuners! I had to get one so I could tune my acoustic bass down to B tuning. Hipshot had the half inch tuner I needed for the B string, the stock tuners snap the B string because they are too small in diameter. Once I found that it worked great I ordered the other 3 tuners. Now I can get a thicker bridge and nut to raise up the strings to eliminate any buzz.
I missed the option for shiny Chrome and ended up with one shiny and three matte...oh well, it adds interesting character, we'll see if anyone notices.

I am in the process of up grading everything on my bass and bought these tunners along with the hipshot bridge.Everything I looked and said need to drill out the tunner hole to 9/16 of an inch. DO NOT DO THIS FIRST. I bought hand creamer and gave each about 4 turns wit moderate pressure and the bushings feel right into place. Ii really like the the way they look and how smooth they are. I will post pics when I am completely done.

Light & tight tuners! Will fix a too heavy neck.
