Excellent Tuners, lite weight and easy to install and adjust makes for the perfect setup on my bass.

I upgraded the tuners on my Mustang bass to Hipshot. This took almost a half pound of weight off the headstock and now no more neck dive. I have all Hipshot products on my Birdsong Cortobass (my main bass) so it was a no-brainer to put Hipshot tuners on my backup Mustang Bass.

These came stock on my Birdsong bass and eleven years later they still look and work like new. They’re very smooth and absolutely reliable … ie the bass never goes out of tune (except for temp variations affecting the strings of course). Brilliant product.

Great tuning machines and a must to upgrade a 2010s with a Hipshot 3-Point bridge Epihone T-Bird. Thanks Oscar for the follow-up

The newer design USA Hipshot ultralight bass tuners are different from earlier versions. If you want to reverse them you need to remove the cog to get the tuning peg shaft reversed. I didn't see this info anywhere, so was a bit if a headscratch at first!

Perfect fit. Reduced the headstock weight by 6oz on my Yamaha BB735 bass. Much better balance on the strap now.

Replaced the original tuners on my Deluxe Jazz and good bye to neck dive! Love how smooth this ones are and how light but sturdy they are built.

Nice tuners, well machined and precise. And lightweight!

All my 3 custom builds have the 1/2 Usa Ultralight tuners. They are light, stable and durable over 10 years without a problem. Getting the last one gold color was the best idea with matching hardware and gold frets too. It really became the best instrument I've laid eyes on.

Great on both a Sire V7 and a US MusicMan Sterling for balancing the headstock!

Replaced slipping tuners with these hipshots... Upgraded the sound and the reliability 10/10
Thanks team

Got these to replace some "not so good" machines on a used bass. Smooth and lightweight too. There is a reason all the top builders use these machines.

The real McCoy! A must for neck diving bass. I installed a set on a Warmoth jazz copy which neck was a bit heavy and it simply rebalanced the whole instrument. Highly recommended!

Best tuners in the business. And Bob Sperzel was one of my buds. We'd use his at CertainBass except I could never get him to make the bass tuners big enough. The Ultralite surpassed you, Bob, sorry!

I have a set of these tuners that came standard on my Birdsong bass. They are solid, tight, and very stable. They are also so light (combined with the short-scale instrument design) that I have no neck dive at all. Highly recommended!
