My hands are small compared to many bass players. The 16.5mm spacing of the type A bridge is a life saver for me. It makes playing bass so much more enjoyable. I have it on five, maybe six basses. I lost count. Great stuff!

I’m so impressed by this bridge, it’s lightweight, has a great tonal response, easily adjusted, and looks fantastic. Nice work guys.

The instrument has come to life thanks to this bridge and how it’s allowed me to drill through and install ferrules for its through the body compatibility. This bass now has deeper lows without boominess and sustain for days. Fantastic bridge. I’ve used the Kickass several times. This bridge is worth the extra cost.

I needed a bridge that had 16mm spacing for my Vox phantom reissue 4 string bass... Hipshot came through with this adjustable one.... still dialing it in... much better sustain and intonation compared to the crap that was on it... it is a totally different bass now! Plays and sounds great for my retro rock music!

Love it! Back IN 2009, I installed a Hipshot A Style Black Brass bridge on a Fender Jazz Bass Special MIJ 1984-87. I immediately enjoyed much better sustain on the fret board, and the extra weight of the bridge was welcome since this particular bass is notoriously light in weight. Thank you!

I've been using Hipshot products for many years on my Zoot Bass custom shop models. The design, quality and the finish of these "A" bridges are second to none. I have this bridge on one of my Zane prototype basses. I absolutely love it. I have my signature series Zane bass being built right now and I am going back to this same bridge but it will be a string through body as opposed to the prototype bass.

Teamed with some DR black beauties, this once top load, now thru body pbass is amazing. This bridge feels and plays awesome and it was so easy to set up and intonate, especially considering i upped the string gauge an all. I honestly cannot say enough about how good this bridge is! Will def be changing over all my basses. Had it shipped to Australia in less than 10 days too which is brilliant. Thanks for an awesome product Hipshot!!

I just put this on my American P bass. Special ordered an unfinished one. It looks and sounds amazing. Took two seconds to get everything set up properly and adjust the string spacing. Love it!

I first installed one on a Fender MIM Fretless J-Bass, wow what an improvement! I then put one on my 72 Precision I've had for 30 years, why didn't I do this earlier! The stamped bridges have what I call a twang in their sound character that I don't care for. Twang is gone, great sustain and wonderful intonation. BTW, they look awesome too!

Just got mine in. Easy install for my Jazz Bass. String spacing feature is top notch. Increase in sustain and mid to high tone. Easier to slap and pop. This is a great product........the best Bass bridge I ever had the pleasure of using.

Can't say enough about these bridges. Installed the FM1 on my American Special Jazz Bass with the HB7 tuner. Totally made the bass feel and sound like a boutique bass (of which I've owned many). I also added a set of Delano pickups. The bass is amazing. Hipshot products offer the best quality, and adjustability on the market today. Thanks guys for the high quality American product.
