Awesome bridge. Sounds and looks amazing!

I have these on two Super Strats. They fit the player bodies no issue. Rock stable! The O rings and tuners are hipshot as well.

Got this as a replacement for the stock bridge on my PRS Tremonti SE. Fits the guitar perfect and has excellent tuning stability.

We love Hipshot over here at Wing Instruments and AJ Brown Guitars! This trem works flawlessly and looks great.

The bridge pin inserts are not a stand dimension. Had to fill in the body and redrill for the hipshot dimensions. It's a great product but it's just kind of goofy to not manufacture to standard specs. If you're putting this on a fresh body. You'll have no problems. But if you're installing on any strat style. You will have to fill and drill. Plays and sounds great.

Started off great, but the saddles began to wear on my unwounded strings - esp E, which caused me to break strings left and right. I’d file and buff them, but the more I did that, the softer the saddle got. Began to rotate them too, but that also became an issue, so I swapped them with titanium pressed saddles - no more broken strings.
This last one is unnessary, but I’d love to upgrade it with an FU-Tone brass block, but I’m not confidant in the Hip-shot block being a replica of the USA two pin-point spacing. Would I buy again? I think the Hip-shot bridge is the best for the two point block system in terms of balance and over all look, but their block saddles are weak, and the system as a whole would be better if the block’s routing mimiced the same routing as the Fender USA 2-pin block.

We here at LSL Instruments use the Hipshot 2 Point Contour Trem standard on ALL of our XT models and our fans absolutely love them! Never had a complaint and we highly doubt we ever will!

Stays in tune pretty well.

One of the most stable, quality and classy tremolo bridge in the market. You never go wrong with a hipshot.

There are a lot of good trem units available, but the Hipshot Contour is special. Next-level stuff, it performs beautifully without radical changes to the instrument.

Transformed my MIM Strat from a good guitar into a great guitar, increased sustain and awesome tremolo action! Easy 5 stars!

Hipshot has always been the standard of Excellence in Beauty, Tone, and Relatability.
All of my guitars have that special signature look due to the eye catching hardware set against some truly unique finish work! And now with the advent of Hipshot's Industrial Tuner Buttons It has become the most efficient way for tuning a Reverse Headstock Guitar, needing only the tips of your thumb and index finger to fine tune - it's a beautiful thang! I had used Gotoh tuners and bridges for years on my guitars. But after trying my first Contour Tremolo over 20 years ago and loving, not just how well it performed but the "Tone" of that bridge is what really got me hooked!
Now Hipshot Bass Bridges in my opinion has no rival! Their aluminum bridges passes all the energy of string vibration directly to the wood of the instrument yielding a clean, articulate string tone. Unlike most brass bridge manufacturers which "suck up" the string tone.
I am very pleased to say Hipshot products is the standard for my Singleton Guitar brand. I continue to look forward to new innovations in the future from the guys at Hipshot. And they really are "Good People" - I like these guys!!

I always used Hipshot Hardware for my guitars, even before i joined Hipshot family in 2015.
I truly believe that this is one of the best products Hipshot ever made and absolutely the best tremolo bridge i ever used in my life.
It's really accurate and smooth: you can easily use your tremolo arm to add expression and make MUSIC. This is REALLY important, because a tremolo can be really the "secret weapon" of a guitar player!
Built like a tank and easy to setup, and last but not least it's really good looking!
Thanks Hipshot for giving us not only a bridge, but a musical instrument.

I bought a gold Contour as a replacement for my Carvin CT6 in 2009. Absolutely the smoothest tremolo bridge I have ever used. After 6 years, the bearings have no wear, still returns to pitch flawlessly. The tremolo arm tension is solid and I have only had to adjust it once for initial setup with daily insertion and removal. The gold plating is substantial and has only worn through slightly on the bass side of the outer edge tray and low E saddle. This bridge can also perform "flutters" similar to a locking tremolo.

I can definetely assure that this trem gave my 2006 Fender American Series Stratocaster a huge upgrade sustain- and tonewise. I can quote above comment from Konstantinos that this is probably the best upgrade you can do to an American Fender Strat. The sustain is longer and tone is more clear, open and full sounding. Also, the strings feel better under the fingers, in the same way more expensive guitars feel. Easier to bend and at the same time the strings have much more energy. It sings now! I have tried so many thing to this 2006 Strat, like stripping the finish to allow the wood to breathe and sustain more, changing to a metal pickguard, decking the trem, outting in five trem springs... the major difference was the trem! I am so thankful for this product.
I have the gold version with the brass saddles. The block is about the same size as the original block, but the material is much better. This combined with the brass saddles just smokes the original trem!
After years of experimenting with this guitar as a scientific control unit, the major difference in tone comes from the trem (given as long as other parts ar quality parts). Man, i wish i knew this years ago! I would have saved me so much time, money and energy.

The tremolo is softer and more keeps the pitch, is also the most responsive to the lever, has a classic look mortal.

Mindblowing construction that simply puts others to shame, coupled with beautiful functionality.

A few comments after the bridge has been installed on the guitar. First of all, it looks incredibly classy (although I'd really like to have a white knob on my arm to match the rest of the plastics on my Strat - do you happen to sell replacement arms?). Now, let's talk performance. I don't know how or why, but it gave me at least 50% more sustain than I ever had. Even acoustically, the guitar (a 1992 American Standard Stratocaster) seems to ring louder and longer, with a more even tone. Plugged in, it's exactly the same story. Regarding its feel now, compared to a Wilkinson VS100 my technician had installed on an identical Strat, your unit's geometry seems to require a bit more arm travel in order to divebomb; personally, I like that, because it gives me more control for arm-aided vibrato. Its tuning stability is excellent. Tonally, the Wilkinson was blown out of the water (it sounded shrill in comparison to the Hipshot) and the Fender American Standard trem was put to shame for being nothing but a tinny-sounding, cheap piece of trash that does nothing to keep the guitar in tune. I know I'm certainly going to recommend your unit to any other Strat owner that wishes to upgrade to a proper vibrato.
