Great bridge, solid design and construction. Beats the pants off bent steel saddles. While the bridge itself is excellent and most likely the best one in its price range , beware that all fenders are not made equally. Newer necks “post vintage” and bodies seem to have variances in pocket depth and neck thickness. Be prepared to measure everything before and possibly shave a neck pocket down. A shallow vintage neck pocket of 5/8” might mean the saddles can’t be adjusted high enough to compensate.

I was not expecting the difference to be so profound! It changed how my guitar plays and sounds for the better.

The customer service is fantastic! I messed up a few saddle screws. All on my own. Hip shot wanted me to have the best experience with their bridge. So don't they go and send me 2 brand new saddles. Free of charge. Thanks Jason. You Rock!!!
